Situades a l'eixample de Barcelona, les quatre vivendes guanyen alçada lliure tot recuperant el sostre original de biguetes i voltes ceràmiques.
Es tracta d'un projecte de canvi d'ús (d'oficina a habitatge) i subdivisió (dues oficines a quatre habitatges) ubicat al centre de Barcelona, a la Ronda Universitat.
Ens trobem davant d'una crugia típica de l'eixample de Cerdà, de planta baixa més 6 plantes pis i un àtic reculat de façana. La recuperació del sostre de voltes és el més important en el procés de rehabilitació i posada en valor del caràcter històric de l'edifici que data de 1890. Optem per una distribució tipus loft, on el mobiliari serà el que definirà els límits de les diferents estances. D'aquesta manera, aconseguim una continuïtat en sostre i paviment per dotar l'espai d'amplitud, tot permetent una gran flexibilitat d'usos.
Situadas en el ensanche de Barcelona, las cuatro viviendas ganan altura libre recuperando el techo original de viguetas y vueltas cerámicas.
Se trata de un proyecto de cambio de uso (de oficina a vivienda) y subdivisión (dos oficinas en cuatro viviendas) ubicado en el centro de Barcelona, en la Ronda Universidad.
Nos encontramos ante una crujía típica del ensanche de Cerdà, de planta baja más 6 plantas piso y un ático reculado de la alineación de fachada. La recuperación del techo de vueltas es lo más importante en el proceso de rehabilitación y puesta en valor del carácter histórico del edificio que data de 1890. Optamos por una distribución tipo loft, donde el mobiliario será el que definirá los límites de las diferentes estancias. Consiguiendo de esta manera una continuidad en techo y pavimento para dotar el espacio de amplitud, aunque permiten una gran flexibilidad de usos.
Inspiration for this project comes from the ceramic roof vaults and beams. This inspiration will set the character of the intervention.
This project is both a change of us (from office space to residential space), as well as a subdivision of the space (from 2 office spaces, to 4 dwellings) located in the canter of Barcelona, in Ronda Universitat.
When facing the project, what we encounter is the “Eixample”’s typical bay with 7 stories and an attic level with a stepped back façade. Recovering the ceiling’s vaults became of significant importance in the rehabilitation process, since it highlights the historical character of the building, dated back to 1890. The interior distribution is organized as a loft, where furniture limit spaces and ambience of the different rooms. This project decision will allow the ceiling to be continuous and the pavement will provide the dwellings of amplitude as well as great space and distribution flexibility.
